Rhythms of Grace is a unique, innovative and cutting-edge program resource designed to meet the spiritual needs of children and families living with autism-spectrum disorders. Participant families gather monthly with program leaders and volunteers for sessions that are a hybrid of worship and faith formation.

This bookhelps children and their families feel at the center of a worship/formation experience that is specific to their needs and circumstances, rather than merely at the margins of even a conventionally inclusive program of worship or faith formation.

The whole Rhythms of Grace curriculum consists of a 3-year syllabus of distinct scripture-based session plans. This volume, Year 1, includes complete plans for 12 monthly sessions and 6 feast sessions, as well as the background and support material needed to establish and conduct a successful program.

Linda Snyder is co-founder and director of Rhythms of Grace at Trinity Episcopal Church in Torrington, Connecticut. In addition, she serves as missioner for children and adults in the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut.
Audrey Scanlan is co-founder and director of Rhythms of Grace at Church of Our Saviour in Plainville, Connecticut. She has a background in Christian formation and experience working with at-risk children.
